Richard Park – Managing Director, Head of Legal

Richard Park set up Charles Park Legal in 2002 and oversaw the company's rebranding as Charles Park Search and Selection in 2007. His principal practice area is the UK and international Private Client sector across the broad professional services arena, including large, medium and boutique legal firms. He has also advised on successful mergers and firm sales, and been responsible for key moves in the Private Client sector. Richard manages the Charles Park group and remains one of the business's key fee-earners. He has worked in recruitment since 1996, and his career includes a successful spell with a well-known City legal recruitment firm.

Interests: cars, rugby, golf and family.

Jan Horrell-Tidbury – Director, Head of Tax

When Jan Horrell-Tidbury joined the firm in early 2007, he brought over 11 years’ experience, gained with a leading professional services recruitment consultancy. Jan’s principal practice area is all aspects of the UK and international tax sector across the broad professional services arena, including large, medium and boutique accounting and legal firms. A significant element of his practice is advising on and executing partner, director and senior management assignments, including team moves and mergers.

Interests: cricket, rugby and his young family.

Tamsin Wightman – Head of Research

Tamsin Wightman obtained a law degree from the University of East Anglia before working in recruitment for a well-known City legal recruitment firm. She then worked in an in-house legal department and joined Charles Park Legal in 2005. She now heads up the research team at Charles Park Search and Selection and is company secretary, responsible for company administration and day-to-day office management.
